Light Farms. Star Trail. Windsong Ranch. The lots are larger here, the expectations are higher, and the outdoor living suites are more ambitious. North Texas Custom Pools designs and builds estate-grade inground pools in Prosper TX that anchor the full backyard experience — pool, spa, pergola, fire, and kitchen, all under one contract.
Prosper's story is one of scale. Where Frisco's lots run 8,000–12,000 square feet, many Prosper addresses in Light Farms, Star Trail, and Windsong Ranch sit on 12,000–22,000 square feet of usable yard — and the newer estate sections near Custer Road push further still. That canvas changes what's possible, and our best Prosper projects reflect exactly that: full outdoor living environments where the pool is one act in a larger production.
The typical Prosper family we work with isn't choosing between a pool and an outdoor kitchen. They're asking how to sequence the design so both arrive feeling intentional rather than assembled over years. Our answer is to design the entire outdoor environment on day one — then phase the construction if budget requires it, but make sure the infrastructure (gas lines, electrical sub-panels, drainage, and structural footings) supports the full vision from the start.
Prosper's newer neighborhoods carry some of the most design-forward HOA standards in Collin County. Star Trail's Architectural Control Committee has specific requirements around deck surface materials, water feature visibility from the street, and masonry wall heights. Light Farms operates a similar review process. We've been through these approvals dozens of times and we know how to prepare submittals that pass on the first round — saving four to six weeks of revision delay that can push your completion past swimming season.
From the straightforward 480 square foot geometric pools favored in Windsong Ranch's newer sections to full $140,000 resort suites with vanishing-edge spas and built-in outdoor kitchens in the estate tier, every Prosper project we build gets the same design discipline: site-specific, architecturally coherent, and built to exceed the visual standard of the neighborhood it sits in.
"Prosper buyers are comparing pools on Zillow before they even close on their house. By the time they call us, they know exactly what they want — and they expect a builder who can execute it without compromise."

The Ramirez family's Star Trail lot backed to a greenbelt — a rare eastern exposure that kept the pool in morning light and framed by natural tree canopy. We designed a 660 sq ft freeform pool with a raised vanishing-edge spa, glass tile waterline accent in Caribbean blue, and a natural ledgestone water wall. The adjoining covered outdoor kitchen with Twin Eagles grill station and built-in refrigerator, plus a gas fire pit seating zone, transformed this into a complete entertaining environment. ARC approval achieved in 19 days.
Light Farms' design aesthetic tends toward the contemporary, and the Nguyens wanted their pool to match their home's clean-lined modern architecture. We built a 500 sq ft rectangular pool with a full-length tanning ledge, a frameless glass perimeter fence on two sides, and a Pebble Fina Onyx finish that reads nearly black under sunlight. A minimalist raised spa with linear spillover channel, LED fiber optic lighting, and white travertine decking completed a backyard that photographs extraordinarily well — which matters in a neighborhood this active on social media.
