Celina is where North Texas buyers go when they want room to breathe — and room to build the resort retreat they couldn't fit in Frisco or Prosper. On the large lots of Mustang Lakes and Celina's rural estate sections, we design pools that feel like they belong: resort-scale, architecturally commanding, and built to anchor a full outdoor living environment.
Celina occupies a unique position in the North Texas new-construction landscape: it's far enough north of the Frisco–Prosper corridor that lots remain genuinely large — often half an acre to a full acre — at price points that still attract the same $120,000–$180,000 household income demographic that drives the Collin County luxury pool market. The result is a client base that arrives with grand ambitions and the yard to execute them.
Mustang Lakes, Celina's premier master-planned community off Celina Parkway, offers some of the most beautifully landscaped new development in North Texas. Lots back to ponds, greenbelt corridors, and open prairie views that demand pool designs oriented around the landscape rather than the house. We regularly design pools in Mustang Lakes with clear sightlines to the rear greenbelt, using perimeter overflow edges and low-profile coping to make the transition from water to landscape as seamless as possible.
Further from the master-plans, Celina's acreage sections — the custom-home estates along County Road corridors like CR 131 and CR 206 — offer the largest canvases we work on. On these lots, a 700+ square foot pool is proportionate rather than extravagant. Full grotto installations, waterslides, multi-level decking with covered pergola structures spanning 800+ square feet, and elaborate fire-and-water feature combinations are the norm rather than the exception.
Celina's permit office is newer and somewhat less staffed than Frisco's, which means plan review timelines can run 5–7 weeks. We account for this in every Celina project timeline and begin permit preparation the day the design is approved, so the waiting period doesn't add to your total project duration. Mustang Lakes' HOA review averages 30–45 days; we prepare a comprehensive submittal that typically sails through on the first submission.
"On a Celina estate lot, you're not choosing between pool size and outdoor kitchen space — you have room for both to be generous. Our job is to make sure they feel designed together rather than assembled separately."
Every trade, every permit, every HOA submittal — managed in-house. No subcontracting, ever.
Estate-scale designs for Celina's larger lots. We orient pools to view corridors — Mustang Lakes' greenbelt, pond-facing lots, and open prairie vistas receive special design treatment.
Larger lot excavations with appropriate dewatering capability. We review Celina's soil and water table conditions before every project and engineer accordingly.
Premium Pebble Tec and glass bead finishes are standard on all Celina projects. The larger water surfaces make interior finish quality even more visible — we never cut corners here.
Natural stone, travertine, and premium quartzite coping for Celina's estate builds. We source materials that hold up to North Texas UV and temperature swings for decades.
Hayward OmniLogic or Pentair IntelliCenter automation for complex Celina builds with multiple water features, fire features, and outdoor lighting zones — all on one app.
Full outdoor living environments — pergola structures, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and ambient lighting systems — designed alongside the pool and built under one contract.
On a 22,000 sq ft Mustang Lakes lot backing to the community's signature pond corridor, the Whitfields wanted a pool that disappeared into the landscape. We designed a 720 sq ft freeform resort pool with a perimeter overflow edge on the pond-facing wall, a grotto cave with a waterfall entry, a 6-person raised spa with dual waterfall spillovers, and Pebble Fina Ocean Blue finish. A cedar pergola with steel frame and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with dedicated refrigerator drawers and a natural gas drop-in grill completed what is now one of the most-referenced pools in the Mustang Lakes community.
Three acres off County Road 131 gave the Boudreau family the freedom to build exactly what they'd been planning for 20 years. We delivered a 760 sq ft lagoon-style pool with a grotto waterslide, a dual-cascade rock waterfall, fire bowls on four corners of the deck, and a swim-up bar shelf. The equipment vault houses commercial-grade variable-speed pumps and a Pentair automation system that controls pool chemistry, temperature, fire features, and ambient string lighting from a single app. The covered outdoor pavilion — a 1,200 sq ft cedar structure with outdoor fireplace — was built simultaneously.
